We are very pleased to announce that both our AKC Lab Ladies Katie (Desert Wind Katie’s Reflection) and Summer (Desert Wind’s Summertime ) have started their heat cycles!
Katie started her heat cycle on Saturday the 22nd so she should have a successful pairing with our boy Truck Stop. They had a wonderful AKC litter of pups last time … blacks and chocolates plus yellows/white chocolates. We will then be preparing for their litter to arrive or around the first week in April.
And our girl Summer started her heat cycle on Sunday the 23rd … haven’t completely decided who we will pair her with but her last couple of litters were with Truck Stop and they had wonderful puppies together … blacks, yellows/white chocolates and chocolates are possible with them. Their litter would also be arriving the first week in April.
We believe all these litters will produce puppies with the American Field lab body style.
Once we have successful pairings we will post updates on the prospective due dates and such. Our best guess at this time would for the release of the Mindy/Rooster litter around mid to late April and the release dates for the Katie and Summer litters being late May to early June.
