Our Testimony
From the very first moment that Desert Wind Labradors was conceived we have always included the fish symbol. This is because it is representative of our faith as Christians.
Recently we felt a very strong urging from our Lord to do more than just show our faith by that but to give others the opportunity to make what for us was the most important decision in our lives … to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as personal Savior, Lord, Healer and Coming King.
The number one need of every individual today is to discover a relationship with God. He forgives our sins, heals our bodies, and changes our lives. We pray you will meet Him today! Please carefully read the information below and prayerfully consider making this decision yourself.

Where did I come from? Where am I going when I die? Why am I here? Many of us have asked ourselves these questions at one time or another in our lives. Well first of all, God created you, loves you, and wants to spend eternity with you. According to the Bible we have all missed the mark when it comes to living the life God has planned for us (Romans 3:23). Romans 6:23 tells us that our penalty for missing that mark (sinning) is death. This is what we have earned, death. Not just physical death, but eternal death in Hell.
But there is good news! God has offered us a way out of our punishment. The other half of Romans 6:23 says that God has offered us the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. You see, while we were still sinners, rebellious, continually missing the mark God offered us a way out. He loved us so much that He sent His son Jesus to die for our sins. To take the punishment for us so we would not have to face that
eternal death.
Getting good with God is not something you can buy nor is it something you can earn. Being a good person, a moral person, or a law-abiding person is not good enough. It is neither hereditary nor available through rituals. Getting good with God is only available through Jesus. And it is available to anyone who asks. God’s grace is 100% free. Romans 10:9 says that if we confess with our mouth Jesus is my master and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead then you will be saved from your sins. No longer having to fear death. That’s it. You’re not doing anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That is salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and you say it, right out loud: God has set everything right between Him and me!
You’ve accepted God’s gift, now what? What is next? Well, if you made that confession than you are forgiven. But this is only the beginning. Second Corinthians 5:17 tells us that anyone united with Jesus gets a fresh start, a new beginning, they are created new. Now we are faced with the challenge of growing in our new relationship with Jesus so we don’t fall into the life we once lived away from him. Romans 12: 1-2 says that we should take our everyday, ordinary life our sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what He has done for us is the best thing we can do for Him. We should not become so well-adjusted to our culture that we fit into it without even thinking. Instead we should fix our attention on God and become changed from the inside out. When we do this we can readily recognize what He wants from us and then quickly respond to it. God brings out the best in us.
We must strengthen our new faith by reading God’s Word, the Bible, and by getting together with others who believe the way we do. Hebrews 10 says it like this, Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another.
If doubts or fears come to mind about your commitment to follow Christ, remember that your salvation is based on the Bible, not what you think or feel. It is also important to know that God did not leave you here to walk in this faith alone. He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit – our Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and our Standby to help us live the life God has planned for us.
